AMND 58 defeated Harlequin 38

A Grade 43 defeated by Harlequin 46

B2 JAGS 46 defeated by Semaphore 57. Despite recent team changes we put up a determined effort to stay in touch with one of the top sides of the competition. We now look forward to settling the team down and grabbing a few wins on the way. Coach Kevin Henderson.

C1 JAGS 42 defeated Walkerville Cats 35

C5 JAGS 49 defeated Matrics 6

Inter 1 JAGS 44 defeated Matrics 41. A true team effort saw Jags defeat Matrics. In a tight tussle all game, all players put in a great performance to ensure that we came out victorious. Coach Jodie Summers.

Inter 3 JAGS 34 defeated by Cheerio (1) 40. After seven successive wins, we suffered our first loss for the season. Cheerio were to be congratulated on their consistent, pressure four quarters of netball and we were never able to pull back the lead they created in the first quarter. Thanks to Ashlee who played for us from half time from Inter 4's, congratulations to her for a great effort. Fantastic work in our defence end. This Thursday night we meet the undefeated Matrics and look forward to a winning outcome. Coach Leanne Nelson.

Inter 4 JAGS 32 defeated by Harlequin 34. All played well. Coach Kaye O’Rielly.

Junior 2 JAGS (1) 37 defeated Tango 33. A great first 3 quarters saw the team escalate to a handy lead at the final break, a slight lapse in concentration saw the lead reduced by the final whistle however still a good win for the team. Coach Kevin Henderson.

Junior 2 JAGS (2) 32 defeated by Harlequin 39. After a hard morning of netball, the Junior 2 side was defeated on the weekend by Harlequin. A fighting effort from the defense could not help bring the match back in time. Bek even put her body on the line, taking a massive tumble whilst trying to keep the ball in, but it seemed not enough in the end. Special mention to Abba and Mel who worked solidly in the defensive circle to try and get the game back Jags way. Coach Elyse Morris.

Junior 3 JAGS 28 defeated Matrics 25. With a depleted team due to sickness and injury Junior 3 won their first (Jags 28 - Matrics 25 ) match after being re graded from J4 to J3.Team captain Tess was side lined with an injury but encouraged her team to the last whistle. Claire put in a great effort being switched from defence to attack, and Stephanie after taking a heavy fall went back on court and played a strong game in centre. The team was well supported by Rebecca who had been taken from J4 as support to Genevieve and Dinny in goals. Our defence worked tirelessly all game with great touches, rebounds and intercepts from Emilia, Alyse and Katie assisted their team mates with the win. Well done girls! Coach Sandra Donnellan.

Junior 4 JAGS 24 defeated by Oakdale 41

Junior 6 JAGS 22 defeated by Oakdale 44

Junior 7 JAGS 20 defeated by Cheerio 31

Sub Junior 3 JAGS(1) 15 defeated by Harlequin (1) 24 AND JAGS (2) 9 defeated Matrics 32

Sub Junior 5 JAGS 27 defeated Garville 4

Sub Junior 6 JAGS 22 defeated Contax 17. After last week’s loss in terrible conditions, the team bounced back with a win over Contax. The first half saw us take control of the game, but some lapses in defensive intensity and poor passing allowed Contax to fight back in the third quarter, giving us only a 2 goal lead at three quarter time. I asked the girls to step-up the defence in the last quarter, which they responded well to and also improved their passing and use of the court space, allowing us to secure a comfortable win in the end. A special mention must go to Ashley, who was asked to defend the Contax GA out of the game in the last quarter and defend her out, she did. Fantastic effort. Keep working hard girls and continue to build on your skills every week. Coach Katrina Day.

Sub Junior 7 JAGS 19 defeated by Harlequin 24

Sub Junior 9 JAGS 20 defeated Woods Panthers 11

Primary 2 JAGS 16 defeated Tango 9. Going into this game the girls were asked to give 100% from the first whistle blow to the last, and they did just that. They worked strong together as a team, great determination, moving the ball well down the court, great intercepts and strong leads. Great work in defence by Georgia and Victoria keeping Tango scoreless in the first half, mid court saw Charlotte, Brianna and Emily move the ball down well with confidence, and in the goal circle Hannah, Mikayla and Alex did a great job moving in the circle and putting their shots up. A very proud Coach Karen Braund.

Primary 4 JAGS 23 defeated Oakdale 11. A much better game this week given the huge improvement in the weather. Our goalies were back to their old selves with a combined effort of 23 goals for the game. Jasmine and Tegan as consistent as ever and Ahna contributing in GA for the first half, all doing a super job. Abby and Giorgia in the defensive circle worked well, Abby improving in GK as each quarter passed and Giorgia scoring many an intercept in the defensive half in GD. Our mid court fought consistently all game with special mention to Brittany for a tenacious display in WD. Some tough games ahead however, so the team must continue to strengthen their play, with particular emphasis on accuracy in our passing through the mid court. Work to be done here at training on Tuesday. Well done girls. Coach Sue Jones.

Primary 6 JAGS (1) 12 defeated Woods Panthers

Primary 6 JAGS (2) 11 defeated Cheerio 9. A lot better game this week by everybody. I think we are starting to play as a team at last. We are starting to lead to the ball a lot better and our passing and running forward was a big improvement. We still need to work on our second efforts for the loose ball, if we can intercept the ball but not chase after the loose ones we are hurting ourselves. Matilda played really well in centre court and created a lot of intercepts by jumping up from nowhere and grabbing the ball. Hannah continued with some good passing throughout the game. We saw it is these things that can help to win the game. Coaches award goes to Matilda for some great intercepts and Adelle for good leading into spaces and passing. Coach Sarah Morris
