Jags v Contax

A nervous start in q1 where we finished the quarter 5 goals down. Coach North swung the changes and moved Annie Galvin into the Goals, Tina Dimas into Centre, which provided some confidences and structure and the game began to turn around.

From the start of the third quarter the momentum and trend continued for the second half with all 10 players obtaining court time to run out champions of the summer with a grand final win - Jaguars 46 defeated Contax 37.

Tahlia North played a magnificent game at WA and Tina Dimas was very noticeable in the second and third quarter.

Tegan Skipworth and Tina Dimas shared the centre court for their four quarters.

Under the goal ring was Ashley Duffield and Elyse Carey with both players along Annie Galvin, delivered the score for victory.

Stephanie Mclntyre and Nicole Tucker control the defensive circle for 3 quarters and set the game up with great rebounds and attacking ball movement back down the court.

A great team effort by Taila Cricelli who played WD & WA and Lauren Trenery WD. Both players added to the mid court strength and consistently added drive to compliment the team balance throughout the game.

Congratulation's to the Inter summer team on your grand final victory, masterly coached by Dave North who constructed the team and made the changes where necessary to bring about the win and more importantly the inter players will go into the winter season full of confidences.
